      We left quite early on New Year's Day with just the doorman and a few drunks braving the morning cold in Boston. We have a Ford Edge which provides the odd laugh with its heated seats.       Friday (day 3) was an amazing day on the road. I tried to meet up with Shannon who will be my room mate in Florida. She recommended a diner just down the road from where I stayed. It was in one of those very old buildings with crooked floors and a tiny ladies washroom.
