This hotel was dumpy and dirty. We cancelled our 2nd night and changed hotels.

Now that the freezer is full, it is time to head home. We will be leaving in the morning with about 10 other RVs headed to Topsail in Destin, FL for a couple of ...

Lots of beach houses, hotels and restaurants on the way (just like Cayman) and then a road with white sands on either side. It's a National Park and also has an old Civil War Union Fort. This will be a restaurant that we will eat at again next year.

... that dogs are not allowed, and Alabama law says that you cannot leave your dog unattended in a vehicle. So, we make the most of it and sit on a patch of grass near the parking lot with the dogs. It is an air show, after all! We all had a good time and finished up the day by going out for lunch at Tacky Jacks. We got home at 3:30 - just like at home where lunches last until mid to late afternoon. Isn't retirement GRAND?
