Bellingrath Gardens
Today we reached the Gulf. We did not visit New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina the year before. Biloxi, MS and Dauphin Island, AL were hit pretty hard too.
Made it
Just a quick note: yesterday, the 10th of Dec. we made it past mile zero in downtown Mobile and further to Dog River Marina. 1 Hour ahead of the cold front.
More and pictures and video in the next few days after we get some sleep.

My usual big gap between entries, Sorry!!
There are a few more RVs here every week. Most have some Christmas decorations, us too.
Let's see, what have we done in the past month: we found a temp church home at 1st Baptist
of Orange Beach. We seem to fit right in, already been to 3 dinner/parties. Hasn't been a lot going
on until Dec. The Gulf Shores ...
Salt Water Taffy
... Farris wheel in the southeast is also located here and we just happened to have two tickets for a free ride.
Tomorrow we head eastward to Pensacola Naval Air Station where we've made arrangements to keep the boat at the marina on the Base while we head back to the Midwest for Christmas. We'll spend this week enjoying Pensacola and getting ready for the trip home.

“Dumpy”

This hotel was dumpy and dirty. We cancelled our 2nd night and changed hotels.
