    ... we could find something cheap in Monterey, we ended up in Marina, 15 minutes further on in a motel where if you didn't keep your whits about you, the shady characters peeking out the windows of the hotel were likely to try and proposition you�� We did get to enjoy a yummy meal and a walk along Fisherman's Wharf first though.     ... but once we got there realized we could not actually drive to the castle. We just wanted to see it quickly and head on, but the only option was a tour that began nearly an hour later that cost $35 and lasted a couple of hours and you had to ride a bus from their visitor center to the castle. So, we decided it was not that important to us since, hey, we have the Biltmore back home we can see anytime, right?
