... and houses. And the views!! We found Julie’s house, situated on a hill overlooking the water, and were thrilled to see her and her family. She and her husband, Drew, were most gracious hosts. We saw their chickens (Wes kept chasing them) and garden, ate dinner together (we’re still talking about Julie’s delicious homemade mac-n-cheese and blueberry crisp), and got a tour of the house. ...

Day 6: Friday. Jasper: Horseback riding at Pyramid Lake then onto Miete Hot Springs. Again, no reservations. Showed up at the Jasper Park riding stables and got a 2 hour ride scheduled for after lunch. Afterward we ran back to the campsite to grab the dog ...

The Citypass included a 1 hour Harbor Cruise on the Argosy Cruise Line, so we headed there first before it got too hot and too crowded. We arrived about 9:30, with the first tour boarding at 10:15. That gave us time ...

... market, but it will be noisy. Hi-Hostel in China Town is quieter, but means you will end up walking a lot further to see the attractions and sites of Seattle. Tip - Unless you want to get fit and walk or conserve your money, we suggest making use of the myriad of buses available. Highlight of the day - the colourful and spectacular Pikes Place Market Observation - Seattle Police Department on bicycles. Looking forward to Victoria as Seattle is too busy for me. Weather - Sunny ...
