... still needed to find him a present and we decided to team up with his mom, Jane. The three of us spent the afternoon trying to find the perfect gift and eventually decided on a fancy bag Joey could use for law school (which he’s starting in September). We'd spent ages getting ready for this tour; doing recording sessions and extra practices, so we figured besides our pre-tour concert we should get in the swing of things by doing a set of Canada Day concerts at the Devonian Gardens that are just outside of Edmonton.

People here in Canada do not party New Year's Eve much, certainly not as we do in Europe. Most do celebrate, but rather sparingly, somewhere in a pub , bar or at home watching TV. ... We went to visit with Stacie's grandparents quickly, then was on our way to Leduc where we were staying with everyone. We stayed in the four points, and after checking in, went to Yodi's for Wings and drinks for supper. Yodi's is a dive bar, but it has the BEST wings you will ever have.

After supper, Lori joined Stacie and I when we went to Walmart to find sandals and Bubba cups. We found ...
