Arriving in a heavy rain, I was welcomed by being allowed to keep my motorcycle under the vast awning for the night (and a towel to dry it off too). A very friendly reception desk and weekend barkeep added to the enjoyment of the facility.
They have a small but very functional fitness center (weights & treadmil, bike and elliptical) as well as an indoor pool. There is a tv to let you forget your breathlessness too.
The restaurant/bar is not busy on Sundays but the food was good and a lively conversation with the barkeep made a nice close to the meal.
I'd definitely return here again. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The old Taylor football stadium was gone and replaced with a couple ...

Arrived at Casa Calma Hotel at 6am. Avery small boutique hotel that is enviromentaly friendly. Easy to spot in the street as the whole hotel is covered with a hanging garden!
... an oil change. On the back to the campground we went through Allentown and Bethlehem. There are some nice parts of both towns but there seem to be a lot more not-so-good parts. Palmerton was a very nice town. There are a lot of coal mines up in this area. The rolling hills around Palmerton were just beautiful. This was our last campground before we headed to Delaware to stay for the ...
... the first of which, The U.S. Mint. The Mint factory/museum was really informative in not only the coin making process but also the history of our country’s currency. I was surprised to find out that at one point there was drafts for a twenty dollar, large, coin. The museum itself took about an hour to walk through so not bad at all. We later ventured onto the cemetery where Benjamin Franklin was laid to rest as ...
