    Great value and friendly

Arriving in a heavy rain, I was welcomed by being allowed to keep my motorcycle under the vast awning for the night (and a towel to dry it off too). A very friendly reception desk and weekend barkeep added to the enjoyment of the facility.
They have a small but very functional fitness center (weights & treadmil, bike and elliptical) as well as an indoor pool. There is a tv to let you forget your breathlessness too.
The restaurant/bar is not busy on Sundays but the food was good and a lively conversation with the barkeep made a nice close to the meal.
I'd definitely return here again. The room was comfortable and quiet.

There was a bar that had a sign out front that showed "riders and fender fluff welcome". Well needless to say that got my dander up! It still works me up thinking about somebody putting that on the sign. I told Shane about it when we ...

Oops I have not updated... It's been pretty busy and tiring. Students arrived on Sunday, the same day I was working through the supply boxes and handouts and realizing some stuff was missing. I also checked my classroom and discovered a few issues... Issues I had anticipated and communicated to staff about. So Monday and Tuesday classes were rough. I mean on the surface, they went fine. I gave interesting lectures and students discussed and worked in groups. It was ...

... in Greenville, Rhode Island we went in search of both. Luckily we didn't need to go very far before we found Cindy's Diner, a great little restaurant where I ordered my usual and Terry found a special treat to whet his appetite. Terry asked the waitress for a bowl of grits and her reply was "Now that's just plain disgusting, that stuff reminds me of wallpaper paste ...
