Cave-In-Rock to Grand Rivers
... next to us. To date this was our hardest day for 3 reasons. 1. The Winds.... Out of the NW with gusts up to 40. The map we envisioned showed the Ohio River going in a SW direction, but the winds at our face proved otherwise for the next 17 miles! When we got to Carrsville there were no businesses in town as shown on Google Maps, so we stopped at the Community Center. The building was open and we walked in and met a retired sheriff, ...

Day 4 will be an early morning call and hopefully log ten hours of driving time. Want to spend some time in Montana fishing!

Art in the Heartland
... you get there."
This turned out to be a gem of a museum. The quilts there are undisputedly true works of art and the creators are sophisticated artists with a mastery of light, color, design, and originality that surpasses most of what is found in what is considered contemporary art. Truly quilting today is a totally overlooked and underrated art form. The art in this museum will knock your socks off. What a shame that quilting as ...
