... Americans and Canadians do not require a visa for visiting Macau.
You do pass through immigration in both directions of travel...
The hydro ferry from Hong Kong takes approx one hour ..fare prices vary as to what time of the day or night you travel.. My return fare from 10:30 am to 8 pm was a mere $ H.K.330 (approx Aus $45) seating is comfortable, but the view dismal due to salt-spray/ smog..weather in Macau was very hazy/ smoggy..

Everyone is so cute here, You wave to anyone and they get all giddy and have the biggest smile on their face. I love it.
