... gradually came on across the town and valley below. Definitely one of the best meals we've had while we've been out here.

Now then;
Q. When is 100 not 100?
A. When it's in an Italian hotel.

Confused? Yes, so were we. We had a hotel booked in Montecatini Terme, and found it ok and checked in without incident. "You're in room 100, first floor Mr Hunter" said the nice lady on the front desk. We walked up the stairs, ...

... couple with their daughter sitting with us. Mark, who loves to talk to anyone, struck up a conversation with the guy, whilst Michelle and I were content to just look at him. He was gorgeous! Beautiful olive skin, bald head - see, I like bald guys - and with an accent to die for! And we helped them out with a map as well!

-and after the obligatory late lunch, we have had a quiet couple of hours doing not much at all.

off to venice tomorrow.

... waffle cone and bottle of coke I was bitterly disappointed to receive a frozen plastic cup filled with icey vanilla icecream and a cup of premix. Especially when sharing a square with a hundred other tourists cheerily licking their delicious flavoursome gelati. My bad.

As the afternoon began to fade we walked over the Arno River via the Ponte alle Grazie hoping to get a good shot of the market-rich Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) and then made our ...
