... said 'get ready to see the best  statue in the world'. And there he stood in all his naked white glory at the end of the hall. Absolutely  beautiful. ... busses only seemed to be able to hold about 10 or 12 people, and then there were was a twizy - an electric powered covered in quad bike vehicle.here were plenty of push bikes - even parents with kids precariously perched on handle bars or on the bar between seat and handle bars. Hotel is fine - room small and pokey but it is prime location and has lovely huge sitting rooms on each floor with massive leather couches. There is also a small courtyard garden ...

... at Eataly, one of the recommended eating places, something unique being a combo of upmarket, organic supermarket and stool-at-bar eating in 4 sections, carne(meat), pesce(fish), pizza and pasta or table upstairs of the same menu. All the staff are young and groovy and the 4 section chefs all young men.
Very enjoyable meal in interesting though not at all traditional environment. An experience!

... streets, with cars and motorbikes fighting for room amongst all the tourists crowding the streets.

We had a delicious dinner in a small ristorante. Best ravioli I ever had! And then the thing I was most looking forward to - buying a delicious gelato on the way back to our apartment and squaffing it down while strolling through the streets. Yum!
