Beautiful little hotel with wonderfully attentive staff. Located within easy walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The breakfast included was tasty and had many options.

Great location only steps away from attractions, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful at night, despite being so close to the action. Excellent and friendly staff. Good variety at breakfast, and the hotel's happy hour every day was a great touch, with complimentary prosecco, white and red wine, and nibbles that included an excellent fresh-made warm bruschetta. There is also a laptop in every room, and iPads available in the lobby. Can't say enough good things about this excellent hotel.

After we left Chianti, we dropped our rental car off in Florence (we were both sooo happy to turn that thing in) and then went exploring. We climbed to the top of the dome of the Duomo and visited the Mercado Centrale. We stayed at the Hotel Davanzati which was a small hotel right in the heart of it all. On Sunday, we saw David, toured the Pitti …

... Anywho, we got a little bit of a history lesson on the tower and apparently the tower is still actively leaning so they only allow so many people in at a time each hour... So we opted not to go in because we didn't want to waste all of our time waiting to go in when we could take pictures where we do the famous pose! lol My cameras tend to hate me on all of my trips... My camera decided to do something really weird, so I had to borrow Jess' camera for the duration that we were in ...

... holy trinity. Pretty cool. After the museum we went back to our apartment. I napped and did homework. Its raining here and I had a headache and my nap made it go away. But now we have had two straight days of rain which stinks... hopefully it will change soon. Lauren and I met a girl she goes to school with and I have class with for dinner at this cute restaurant and we ended up sitting and talking for more than ...
