Aaaargh. I eventually got a technician up and with various visual interpretations illustrating how the fan blew, swaying my body back and forth from the air con to the bed, the technician put a spare pillow in the way of the fan. As I lay awake wired from my miming antics some time later, I thought perhaps I should have thought of that.

... One girl made it to the front and was then told she couldn't get off and we pulled away. This was a bad moment for me as it meant I had to make use of the onboard facilities. It was as bad as I had thought, if not worse. By midnight we had watched 5 episodes of 'PB' - the last one we watched was extremely emotional meaning that I was sobbing in the middle of a sleeper bus. We plugged ourselves into our phones and tried to get some sleep on the bumpy ride to Nha Trang. ...
