    Last day on the slopes

A travel blog entry by don.vince on Jan 30, 2015

Garry has seen me on my first day on the slopes, when I sucked at snowboarding. He has seen me gently improve over the years such as I sucked slightly less at snowboarding. He's a very supportive and empathetic character and gives wonderful feeling praise when he sees you doing good. I could not wait to show off Don the freestyler’s new skills. He was with two friends. He didn’t die. They dug him out and collectively they took it easy for the rest of the day.

[Forgot his name] was very interesting to talk to, his philosophy was ...

    Snowboarding day 3

A travel blog entry by don.vince on Jan 27, 2015

I know the way today, up the mountain, down the mountain, in the right direction, not just on time for school, early! My reward: I hear beautiful singing & guitar playing; it's Róisín that I met on the bus the other day playing on the radio show. Nice work Róisín! Also to her credit, I asked and was granted the request to play 3 chords (badly) on her guitar, I miss my strings.

Virtually everything Julian teaches us today is "this ...
