... and hand wash everything in the sink. Not the most relaxing day, but clean clothes are nice! While the drive today was absolutely breathtaking, it was nerve-racking as well. Between that and the laundry ordeal, we enjoyed relaxing the rest of the day, trying to unwind. Tomorrow we will get out & explore a bit more. And hopefully the weekend tourists will have gone ...

... the Austrian Alpine region and the route we decided on involved a lot of highway running, boring but necessary to cover larger distances. Fortunately we rode the majority of the trip once again through the Alps and the scenery never failed to amaze Marg and I. Fortunately, Laura was quick, and soon we were ...

Okay, as a kid I maybe sat on the odd Shetland pony and was led around a paddock the size of small pond but I had never been pony trekking. It was something I had always wanted to do, despite the fact horses scare the heejebus out of me. Mattijs and I had planned long before now to go horse riding and somehow it had never happened but now we had our ...

Originally, we never intended to travel to Lake Bled and had it not been the fact it had proved near impossible to plan our itinerary to Italy from Croatia, we would never have been lucky enough to see Lake Bled at all. By travelling through Slovenia, it halved our journey time and reduced the amount of time spent on trains. We had initially considered taking overnight trains to save on accommodation but knew that unless we invested in bunks, which we ...
