... 4 of us, the others eating plain spaghetti made Michelin star with butter and herbs. Naomi branded her tea as poor-average pretty much reflecting everyone's opinion. Katie and Emma have gone to watch some of the music concert and have a last look at the lake. I can't wait to have a shower and then I have to pack up all my stuff which is really tidy as you can imagine. Got to be ready for tomorrow morning's train to Venice which we are excited for. Hot in the day but not scorching and cool at night so you can ...

We spent about 3 hours making our way down the river. Vying not to be the last one to jump/slide/abseil so you could see everyone's faces as they threw themselves into the unknown or maybe so not everyone would be watching you. It's been a constant competition today for a mention on the blog. My fav ...

... The atmosphere was electric. Ginenne saw me 9 times. I impressed my coaches. I was really very focused at all times, and looking back on it it went by quickly. I got my metal engraved and finisher photo yesterday. Also watched the Hawaii world championships roll down (someday I will make it). For now, with the sub 10 hours I'm stoked.

Thanks to my coaches Dave and Lisa, Ginenne, as well as family and friends back ...
