... at an open section of river and he spent about 30mins looking at and investigating the rocks! We found one with incredible green streaks through it. We wanted to try some Slovenian cuisine so went for dinner at a cute little place called Strud'l. We had a huge feast of local specialities. It was delicious! Clear blue skies and very cold! We got ready to ride then drove to find somewhere to park for the day. Not an easy task in a touristy town like this! Anyway, we found a spot about 5km away in Bohinjska Bela, en route to lake Bohinj. We took Mats "short cut", aka wet, gravel, muddy, soggy autumn leaves, steep gradient.. We started the day with a run through the mountains. It was wet and muddy, lots of autumn leaves on the track, and some beautiful waterfalls along the way. After checking the weather forecast and some grocery shopping we hit the road to Bled in Slovenia. We arrived at the campsite. Their last guests for the season! They close tomorrow. We're the only ones here. We found a spot for Percy and he ...

... idea what little town we were in but it was almost like a ghost town. It was so quiet that we could hear the leaves blowing in the wind. It was only very occasionally that we saw another person or a car went by. A few of the first cafes that we visited were closed, but just as we were starting to feel disheartened we found a pizzeria that sold cheap italian food. In fact, Nathan thought his pizza was better than the stingy ones he had in Rome because it ...
