We tried 2 of Sissi's favourite Austrian dishes for lunch at the stunning Gloriette Cafe in the palace. One was a pancake soup, called the Frittatensuppe, which was clear broth with shredded pancakes. It was light and flavoursome. It is stuffed with cheese and inserted into a ketchup filled baguette, the taste is out of this world. I'd come back to Vienna just for that. Hot dogs aside, this was a great stop on our trip and we will be coming back. A nine hour journey awaits us as we cross the entire breadth of Austria, finally arriving in Lucerne, ...

Enough to put anyone off breakfast on a plane
SA planes are good with their meals, we have decided.
