Our day started with a really nice breakfast spread this morning. Then the group met in the lobby of the hotel at 10am for our walking orientation tour of Vienna City centre. It took about 2 hours and we went around some of the main attractions like St Stephens cathedral, where we took a moment to have a quick look inside. Although all the lead singers were quite evenly matched the lead Cenerentola character was the standout for me. Margerita Gritskova, another Russian mezzo with a very clear voice and a distinctive quality. The audience was very enthusiastic.

Great to see the guys in action and it was only slightly scary to be packed into a very small space with 7 HUGE men with long hair, tattoos and attitude....but they couldn't have been more welcoming of the strangers sitting timidly on their sofa smiling encouragingly at every sample that was blasted out!
