A million fallen leaves, a cliff face and many rose prickles later Brendan found himself body surfing down towards the gorge legs first. An anxious couple of seconds followed as he struggled up the muddy mountain back to relative safety. Deciding we were not to leave empty handed ...

Anyway, at the second attempt we have still failed to locate the supermarket so we set off to hike back to Wanda. In the absence of plonk, we'll have to crack open a bottle of quality Barolo, what a shame. Fitbit claims in excess of 20,000 steps walked, the best part of 10 miles, so we deserve our BBQ tonight.
