... to give our compliments to the office for the walk and organisation. Found a cafe open eventually for lunch. Amazing that so few were open as it was raining. Back to our hotel where we have the same room we had when we stayed before the walk. Overall, this was an excellent walk that had something different to offer on each day, some days harder than others, all the accommodation and meals were great and luggage transfers worked perfectly. Bus journey was through lovely green pastures with plenty of cattle grazing. Even saw some with bells on! Stopped at a lovely little village Fuschl on the most picturesque lake. Such an idyllic view. Bus only went as far as St Gilgen (on another lake) so had to wait about half an hour to ...

... Tyrolean style houses, rolling hills, farmland, and beautiful, beautiful lakes. All the while, the mountains played the backdrop for the scenes that unfolded before us. It was absolutely wonderful.

We finally reached Salzburg around 5:30 and as luck would have it, our bus stopped at Miarabellplatz right near our hotel. YES. We got off the bus and I told Cheryl we should take the nasty lady's bag off the bus and leave it on the side of the road. Obviously we did not do ...
