... found out that it was customary in the morning to stand up on the table and chug your beer while the entire tent cheers you on. If you finished it you got quite the round of applause, and if you didn't finish or spilled a lot you got booed off the table. None of us were quite brave enough to do it, and we also weren't up for chugging a liter of beer before noon. At some point we decided it was probably a good idea to put food in our stomachs, so I stayed at the table ...

... are the only country to have an embassy at Oktoberfest. The documents important details included emergency phone numbers, what to do if you loose your passport, they do not pay for ANY hotel, medical or legal fees and most importantly - stealing steins is a criminal offence. ... is very pretty and vibrant! We ate in the basement of the Old City Hall, Ratskellers.

Next our guide took us for a walk through the Hofbrauhaus...holy cow...she said this will be tame compared to Oktoberfest tomorrow... We are banking on getting in early having a beer or two and leaving before the drunks get too bad!

Our tour group doesn't know we have our lederhosen and dirndls...we have kept that a secret. Tomorrow, 8 am we will shock them ...
