... memorable were the Imperial Palace, Sisi's museum & St. Stephens Cathedral. The story of Sisi (Elizabeth, empress of Austria) is quite fascinating, I would encourage you to google her & read about her life.

Today we took the train from Vienna to Kitzbuhel. We had to transfer trains in Worgl, & expected to have 16 mins to make the connections. Well ...

... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. We had a good walk around – took plenty of photos including a funny one of Craig wearing an interesting hat – he looks so much like Poppa in that photo. Only bad thing was that ...

... faster. We went to the gift shop and we bought the picture they had taken of us on the train on the way in.

Next we headed to Alpbach known for the floral displays outside the Alpine houses and chalets among the best in the country. It took us about half an hour to get there. We parked and started walking around. Derek visited the ATM for cash and we all visited the Tourist Information to get a map of Alpbach. We toured ...
