Neither of us had any expectations of Slovenia so didn't know what to expect, we had originally struggled to find a campsite in the area but on further investigation we found Camping Kekec so headed for it. Its at the foot of Mountain Pohorje in Maribor and has stunning views, we had stunning views throughout our journey through Slovenia.

Wednesday 28 May Schloss This morning we set to walk up the Schloss, the fortified area overlooking the town. It was raining so we popped into a church to have a little look around. A service was starting so we sat down and partook. A great organ and a singer led some of the hymns. ... on the balcony of their room and went to bed in good time so we could get a good start.
Willow had come up with a slightly mad plan to get Sarajevo back on the plan. We drove for 400 miles through 2 countries ,Slovakia and Austria and into a third,Slovenia. We found a good hotel. Had a proper Pizza from a wood fuelled oven and a good nights sleep.
