... and forks and had dessert. Yummy! We checked out of the Park Hotel about 22:00 (10:00 PM), walked back to the Hotel Excelsior and collected our suitcases, then crossed the street to the bus station to catch a #31 bus to Travemünde harbor.

The Finnlines ferry check-in process took all of two-minutes, after which they told us to wait downstairs in the waiting area for our ride onto the ferry. As this was a truck/car ferry foot ...

The next morning, we drove from Hamburg to Lübeck, where my great-aunt lives. We went for a walk through the city but it was very cold, so we had to go to a cafe soon.
Later we met my aunt at the Niederegger shop, which is a very famous German Marzipan manufacturer. We stepped in for a coffee and extremely delicious cakes and bought some of the famoues Lübeck Marzipan specialities as a souvenir.
Then we continued our journey to Schwerin.
