... days that had been around, the day we went to Hamburg was beautiful! Nice sunny weather and the temperature was bareable unlike the other days, so much so that I felt hot in my jacket!! So we looked around the port of Hamburg, and I saw the old building that used to be the hospital Nanny worked at many many years ago, etc. We also went to this (now museum type thing) of an old typical Hamburg house from way back. It was tiny! And the stairs to get upstairs were ...

... These people are unbelievable. Let's find someone else who knows what the hell they are talking about." So I just told the polyester pantsuit queen, "I'm sorry. You called me an idiot before asking for my help. Enjoy Gdansk." I don't think it ever occurred to them that I was an American, too. They were prime examples of the type of tacky American tourists I run into from time to time and is it any wonder people frown upon us? Nice going ladies.

... to learn a little bit of German or else use sign language because few could speak English. I liked it, it made it more real. I felt like the only foreign tourist in the whole place. It was very peaceful, and the hostel quiet with only one other occupant in my room.

After 4 days in Lubeck, we headed down to Travemünde, a beach and harbor city on the coast of Germany. In Trave, among things, we visited Germany's Knotts Berry Farm: Hansapark!! :-)

Germany is a great country with lots of culture!
I strongly recommend a visit there!... We will be back for sure...

Monday 15th June. Leaving Berlin area we headed northeast up through the countryside and went on the hunt for the internationally renowned STEIN DINSE, what you don't know them, well sufficed to say if you rode a Guzzi you would. ... Unification Holiday and Sunday this weekend). At about 1600 I went looking for the other people who were going to Hamburg and just tried to figure out what was going on with that. At around 1830 Bryan got done with his classes (the MEs had to make up some class time since a few of their classes got cancelled earlier in the week) and we met up and decided that we were going to be cheap and easy tonight with dinner and just get some pizzas. We left for ALDI ...

... that the professor brought in. Tomorrow will consist of the com class again and Signal Analysis and Humanities classes...but that will be for another day...obviously. After that we basically just worked on figuring out our weekend, made a quick trip downtown for Bryan to ask some girl on a date to the Kart-Haus (go-kart place), but he got shot down for HOMEWORK. I told him not to sweat it because that is what Tiffany used to say to me...

... since I needed to be there for my cheap Ryanair flight onto Lübeck. How lucky was that that I had found a cheap right from Krakow no less, and they even told me I could take a wizz in Europe. Yes, it was going to be a very special flight. A few weeks later I was looking at the city code for the airport and noticed it was not the same one normally used for Krakow. ... used in puppet shows from all over the world. Next door, there is a puppet show, but in my opinion, the puppets here were scarier than the cemerey, so I didn't go see it. Since there are so many restaurants, I decided to eat in one, and I'm glad I did, because I went back to my hotel in Hamburg full and tired, and ready to pack up for my departure tomorrow. I hope I didn't forget anything!
