... In honor of better days and better eating, I’ve decided to start a food blog and post some of the pictures and reviews of the places I eat at during interview season and also some of the local places in T-town that you can’t miss if you are passing through. So be sure and check back for those updates on my main page…but be careful cause I guarantee you you’ll be hunting something tasty when you do.

And there in lies the problem for us; the relaxed Aussie life style is great but not earning on their pay scale (or indeed anything at all) makes the country very expensive. I do not think I have been to a zoo in thirty years, since Jersey Zoo I believe, and have always found them rather depressing. Melbourne zoo has a very high reputation and somewhat to our surprise ...

... anniversary of that race 50 years ago. I've given myself two months to travel Tasmania as people I've met who've been here have commented, " Two months! You must be joke'n...you'll never see it all, in 'only' two months!". It reminded me of the Aboriginal saying, "This is the land of lots of time". And I've got lots of that. As I write this I've only been here five days. So far I've almost exhausted myself touring the northern coastline and inland farming area feeling ...
