      ... had theatre tickets, reusable and made of clay. Side had a very touristy atmosphere and yet more roman ruins, only just being restored.       ... Museum. This museum was a perfect size - large enough to be really interesting but not so large that it becomes overwhelming. It had many of the artifacts from the theatre and the city, making it possible to see the actual statues and several other antiquities of the same time period.

      Another 5 hours of driving brought us to the Turkish coast and the city of Anatolya. We had to go over the Taurus Mountain range, which looks surprisingly similar to heading to Squaw - lots of rocks and fir trees. The only difference was that every now and then we would see tents with herders and their goats. Other than that, the highway was quite well built and maintained.
