... Starbucks within just a few blocks, and there was some confusion as to which one I was in. Whoops!

I met up with my dad by 5:15. I can't begin to describe how relieved I was to see him, a familiar face at the end of a long journey, being so far away from home. The afternoon saw us arrive in Portland. It was our 19th wedding anniversary so we stayed in a nice hotel. It was huge and so was the room. It also had a nice view of the river and a balcony however the rain continued and it was fairly cold. The room also had a great electric fire place.
