... Portland, started with free entry into the Museum of Contemporary Craft, which lasted about 30 minutes. They just wasn’t that mush there. We went onto Mississippi Avenue over the Broadway Bridge (probably the best bridge in Portland and kind of like a mini Golden Gate). Mississippi had a great vibe, very old fashioned and a bit like what we think Austin will be like. Tonnes of breweries, we drank in Interurban and ...

    • Exhausted from a full day in Eugene, Bailey and I filled up the tank and traveled 245 miles to Portland.
    • Once we got there Bailey and I set up our stand and sold our apparel. We made $245 dollars on the day.
    • For lunch we ate a pepperoni pizza at Pinky's Pizza and for dinner I ate spiced curry lamb at Chez Dodo. I was surprisingly delicious.

inside doing not much, enjoying some much needed quiet time, watching episodes
of That 70s Show on my computer. At some point we met one of our upstairs

... found it. Downtown has a homeless element but nothing too crazy, mainly just deranged black guys and people pushing trolleys full of **** which I believe is referred to as panhandling.

The area was quite nice but it pretty much amounted to a fancy craft fair rather than anything particularly fantastical. After a while of wandering we went to a bookstore called Powells to buy Colin a $20 book token. We’d been fretting about what to buy them as a thank you but ...

... people but on the whole by the end of four hours i felt frustrated and irritated. I think portland has a lot to offer but it has the attitude and indifference of say Milan ( yes ive been there ). The Motel was very nice with good space and even a kitchen. Little worried that they kept the office door always locked even when they were in there and you had to ask for ice and wait outside whilst they fetched it. Onto to Seattle via Sumnar the Rhubarb Capital ...
