We spent yesterday just lazing by the pool. Had a massage in the afternoon. It really is a superb place to be, one can do things but we chose to rest, it's been a busy two weeks. This morning we packed up. Off to Casablanca to catch a flight to England. My view of Morocco: It is a country that has a foot in two worlds. On the one hand you have our world with internet, mobile phones, cars, running water, bathrooms etc. yes they are here, but I gather it ...

We packed up and left Kasbah Tamadot today heading towards Oualidia. This is where we will spend our final 2 nights in Morocco. The idea being to have a couple of days relaxing in the sun. Rachel chose this specially for us, it's in a private area and is supposed to be beautiful. Ok, I admit it, it's superb. La sultana is by the sea and so beautiful. I'll let the photos speak ...

The guide does us proud again and another canpsite has been bulldozed. everyone hassles us for a bit and offers us crabs and oysters and continues to repeat that despite it being ok for campervans to park up we're not allowed. then arrives some other person and offers us his garden. we reckon this is the best option so figure we'll sleep there. It's a nice garden and has a table! the level of being sold stuff has stepped up ...

The second day while in Qualidia, we went to a place called Surfland to find an instructor to teach us how to surf. I was sick the first day, but the next day I took a lesson and tried to surf. After a couple waves, I got really good and started to high-five my Dad when I was on the waves. I also could lay down on the surfboard and try other tricks. I wanted bigger waves even though ...

... here. Michael and Kara had already made friends with the
guys from the surf school, so I felt there are some contacts to stick
to while I plan the rest of my trip. And it is cheap :)

          - The first night, we had not only the surfer dudes, but also the
(supposed) mayor join our table at dinner. The latter is also the
diector of a school somewhere with 1,000 stuents: So he sais at least.

          - Day one was spent doing next to nothing other than lying on ...
