Today we decided on the shorter course of about 25 km from Visegrad to Esztergom. We started at a leisurely pace crossing in a ferry and biking to Zebegeny which is a typical small Hungarian village - not at all affluent with a simple existence for the locals. ... over both of them. Bought 2 x Budapest Passes (€33 each) at the rail station here which gives us 72 hours free public transport, entry to 8 museums, entry to a spa bath, 2 x walking tours! Wow, we'll need a holiday after this, only have 3 days to cover Budapest. Caught the subway to Lilla's and had to go down then up the steepest, longest & fastest elevators I've ever been on, bloody scary! Lilla is lovely, English is perfect & those people we've spoken ...

Entrance ticket was 1800 Ft ($9) + 800Ft ($4) for a photo ticket. There were no restrictions on taking photos once you had the ticket which was good for a change.
