Today we decided on the shorter course of about 25 km from Visegrad to Esztergom. We started at a leisurely pace crossing in a ferry and biking to Zebegeny which is a typical small Hungarian village - not at all affluent with a simple existence for the locals. ... m sure! And anyway, we can have our own “showerty” in our disco steam shower (doesn’t quite have the same ring to it!). The whole swimming experience was a bit of a milestone for me, being the first time I had been swimming since I had surgery (and goodness knows how much longer even before that!).
