Today we decided on the shorter course of about 25 km from Visegrad to Esztergom. We started at a leisurely pace crossing in a ferry and biking to Zebegeny which is a typical small Hungarian village - not at all affluent with a simple existence for the locals. ... up and went on the hunt for somewhere else for a beer.

It was quite late by now and we did find a bar/club type thing that looked quite good, but again was really empty. We had a drink there, before deciding to call it a night. We had considered having our big end of trip blow out tonight, but decided not to force it, as there would always be the next night in Munich and Budapest seemed weirdly quiet - nothing like the Budapest I knew from last time...
