    Today we drove along the St. Lawrence River from Levis to Rimouski, then turned southwest toward Campbellton, New Brunswick. This area is called Bas-St-Laurent and some of the views are amazing over the river. We stopped at the Fromagerie des Basques in Trois-Pistoles and bought some delicious squeaky cheese curds for lunch and a quiche for supper, then we finally found some wine so our dinner was complete!

    ... it to the ferry dock and as soon as we shut down the engines we get our tickets scanned and are told to load up! We are the first to get on the ferry with two other bikes. We strap the bikes down and grab sleeping pads and bag. We rode 500 miles today! And started about noon. Let's see 500 miles in 9 hours. That's something to be proud of. We spread out the sleeping pad and bag between the row of seats and join the chorus of snorers. We hit land at sunrise. I ...

    It was very cool last night with the temperature reaching 0 C. and there was quite a bit of frost on the ground. Hopefully this will help bring on the fall colors.
