    ... tasty and challenging to eat ) then a meal of a meat or chicken fillet with plantains, rice, beans and minimal salad and a fruit drink. Good value and filling. After this we visited the roadside market and then the lovely riverside gothic cathedral which is impressive with its lacework ironwork. Cali is most famous as a place for salsa clubs and late nights. Not really up for late nights we decide to keep heading south towards Ecuador ...

    ... ago, someone had the bright idea of sticking a motorbike on the thing - the front wheel is bolted and chained onto the wooden cart and the back wheel runs on the train rail. The "motobrujita" can make the $5 trip in just 15 to 20 minutes and carry significantly heavier loads, whether it be people (most wooden carts have benches and space for 5 people, but we did see several deluxe stretch-limo version, which can fit many more), building materials and foodstuffs. ...
