    All the official stuff over we set off fro Hamburg, destination Denmark. After a pretty uneventful 300km drive we came to the town of Ribe and checked into a very nice but expensive campsite. we are now operating in Krone as our monetary currency. 7.00 Krone is around 1.00 Euro so having got used to thinking in Euro we now need to divide everything by 7 then multiply by 13 to get Rands. Interesting mental exercises.

    ... So we got one (only a tenner) and headed to pitch 326. I nipped to the camp shop for bread, only to discover the Kroner coins that dad had very kindly donated to our cause are "old coins", no longer accepted.... The Kroner notes that dad kindly donated to our cause are, however, still in circulation so all was well. Moral of the story: forget the little metal jobs, it's the big paper ones you want!! I think this moral will take us far in life, no matter the country! ...

    ... the Navigator - listening to her getting her lips around Danish Street names was very amusing and often turned into La La Road or street; luckily the Driver didn't have the reading glasses so couldn't lend a hand or have the mick taken either.
