    ... setting up camp we headed into Ribe to check it out. Ribe is a very old town dating back to the 1500's. Many of the old houses are more than 150 to 200 years old and are very quaint and picturesque. A feature of these old houses are the small windows and low roves which will help in keeping the houses warm during winter.

    Early to wake to clear blue skies and scorching sun and a quick getaway as no awning. So a few cuppas, some breakfast biscuits, a nice stroll / run for Prego and off to Denmark. A minor mishap with local roadworks had us diverted onto the right path, only to hit a sequence of main roadworks along the journey.     ... the Navigator - listening to her getting her lips around Danish Street names was very amusing and often turned into La La Road or street; luckily the Driver didn't have the reading glasses so couldn't lend a hand or have the mick taken either.

    Lunch out consisted of Danish delicacies and a hot chocolate - it was chuffing cold!

    ... We spent a great 3 hours here watching the the kite and wind surfers as well as flying our own kite for an hour. The sun was shining but the wind was quite strong; it gave us a good upper body work out!

    We've arrived in Denmark and making our way across to Copenhagen. At least we're back to driving in kilometres and driving on the right side of the road for a left hand drive car. I can relax now that I'm no longer in the target seat. (Imagine you're in the driver seat, facing on coming traffic, but the steering wheel and foot pedals are on the other side of the car......well I've been in that position for most of the last two months)
