... 180;s tank only to break the petrol tank lid. Damn. So we drove to the supermarket nearby and bought some gaffa tape.All fixed, well, temporarily fixed anyway. We got home at about 10pm and by then we were both famished, but thankfully I blasted our roast veggies and quickly cooked the crumbed chicken so we ended up eating at about 10..45pm. I decided to stay an extra night in Alicante and explore a little. I’m glad I did and I think staying for two nights or more will be become more of a thing on this trip. Alicante has a lot to see and do, even in low season. There is a lot of building work going on, road works, sea defence construction, resort improvement. Travelled back in to Benidorm to meet a couple of the other teams, to plan a route and start time home, met some good lads on the way down and the CB saved us all numerous times.

So three teams decided to set off back on Tuesday morning. Heading up the Spanish east coast, seeing how far we can get. The aim is Perpignan at least!
