THANK YOU DANIEL HOTEL.....You made our Holiday

First of all we would like to thank all at the daniel hotel for the great hospitality we recieved whilst we were there(5/9/04-19/9/4) I would recomend the hotel to anyone, all entertainment evenings were great, George at the bar,brilliant he was as helpful as every other member of staff ,Stergos the manager is a character. He is there to make sure all the guests and I mean ALL the guests are happy. We will be visiting the Daniel Hotel again next summer with our family or friends. A nice family, Very Clean and Safe hotel in rhodes.....Thank you again Daniel Hotel..

A cheerful friendly hotel

Just returned from a weeks' holiday at the Daniel. This is a small hotel hotel will a very friendly feel to it - it provides an excellent environment to mingle and enjoy the company of other guests.

The hotel is basic (as most Greek hotels) and very clean. It's a B&B - although breakfast is not a lavish affair. However, what more do you need in the moring other than some toast and a cup of coffee...?

The staff are very friendly - we didn't see that much of Stergos (hotel manager) - other earlier reviews are very positive about him - I did feel he is taking a more behind the scenes approach these days and did not mingle a great deal. George and the mad cockney breakfast lady more that made up for things in the personality stakes.

The hotel is situated in a quiet village with good, friendly tavernas and cafes within short walking distance. Castello's has excellent food at very reasonable prices and you can also hire a car here - MUCH cheaper than the Thompson rep prices with a better quality car.

The local beach (Kalathos beach) is situated a short walk away at the rear of the hotel. It's a shingle beach (but comfy to lie down on with your beach towel!). The water is clear and fantastic to swim in. This beach goes on for miles and is extreemly quiet (a northernly half an hours walk along the coast will give you plenty of privacy for a spot of skinny dipping!)

A perfect holiday for a spot of relaxing and unwinding. The beautiful town of Lindos is only a stop away on the bus (or a short taxi ride) with an abundance of restraunts, pubs and shops.

Stergos, Petros + (lovely) George

Me, my mum and my dad have been going to this hotel for 10 years. it is by far the best holiday/hotel i have ever seen. the staff their (petros, George, Stergos) are all fantastic and are very welcoming. WHY NOT!!!!!

I would recomend this place to anyone who just wants to relax.

OUR 7th VISIT AT THE DANIEL

The Daniel Hotel has been the choice of our family and friends for the last 7 years. We love it because it is safe, clean, and it offers all the services required for a great holiday. All the theme nights or even the regular nights at the bar keep everyone happy. Every year we meet new people that have visited the Daniel Hoel more than 3 or 4 times. They should be doing something right!! The manager Stergos and the rest of the staff of the hotel are always around to entertain and make a great atmosphere suitable to everyone. Now you can even book a VIP room with even more services through their web site.

Very Lovely Hotel

Daniel Hotel in Kalathos is probably the best hotel we ever styed at.

The hotel is near Lindos and in the middle of the island of Rhodes Greece. There is alot to do while there. The hotel has great entertainment with parties, movie nights, romantic nights, casino night and the bar with Stergos and George is always busy with lots of surprises and cheap drinks. I really liked the 4 meter screen at the bar where they show video clips and special shows every night. The bar is air-conditioned so are the rooms. See you all in 2004.....Stay looovely...

Loovely! WHY NOT!!!

We were worried when we were dropped off!! Small town - dead street! we needn't have been. The holiday was superb! The staff courteous, the manager - LOOVELY!!! Stergos and his crew did us proud night after night - especially the POOL NIGHT! Lindos was outstanding

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic Hotel, this was such a good choice of holiday. The staff are very hard working and eager to please. Nothing is too much trouble and the entertainment at night is varied and very enjoyable. Stergos the Manager works extremely hard as do all the staff, to make sure all the guest are happy. Anyone who goes to Hotel Daniel and says they didn't enjoy it are extremely hard to please. We've just come back home and intend to go back next year. The hotel is clean, the staff are freindly and helpful, the food is good and overall, staying at the Daniel Hotel made our holiday the best ever.

Fantastic Hols

My husband and I, booked a JUST holiday last year to go to Rhodes. We were offered the Daniel Hotel as alternative to our our first which wasn't available.At first we were very apprehensive, until we got there!!! What a wonderful hotel and the people that run it are marvellous. I have worked abroad and stayed at many hotels but the Daniel has a certain atmosphere that gives you the feeling that you are on holiday but also adds a little of home.The evening entertainment was great, there was a variety of things going on weekly and they catered for everyone.The staff were welcoming and always there to answer any questions.We will be going back this year and I can't wait.We fully recommend it.Thanks,George

Loved this holiday

this was by far the best holiday i have ever had, me my mum and dad went last year, bout june, lovely wather, lovelt staff, babis costas, great guys, great pool, great fod great theme nights, and all and all the best holiday you will ever have!!!, see you next year hotel daniel lotta love

Wonderful Holiday

Me, my mum and her cousin were at the Daniel Hotel in Kalathos - Rhodes last year (2002). It was my mum's first abroad holiday!!It was the night we arrived and after dumping our luggage in our room we decided to go to the bar for a drink and sit outside. My mum was so amazed that at it was after 11pm and it was so hot ouside! We went the last week of the season by the way!The staff we so friendly and the Manager was so funny we didn't want to do back home! The hotel was very clean and the entertainment was brilliant! I enjoyed the kareoke! My song is "Big Spender" by the way! The food was great and the location couldn't be better. It is only 4 miles from Lindos and the taxi fare is so reasonable!I was hoping to go back this year but can't! Boo Hoo! There is next year I suppose.I would recommend this holiday to anyone and everyone. We booked with "Just Holidays".Can't wait to go back!!!!!
