Sounds very nice, doesn't it?  Not if it's been sitting in a chaffing dish and dried out, or if each meal looks and taste like the previous one. Port Jefferson is named after our third president. It's a deep water port that has ferry service to Connecticut. ... I had measured my van before I left and it was about 9 feet tall at its highest point. The bridges were beautiful stone workings. Signs said, no large trucks. Could I be in the same category of large trucks? The bridges were marked. The first few I had plenty of space. 11 ft 4 inches, 12 ft 1 inch. Then there were a few that were 10 feet and then one that was 9 ft 2 inches. I about ******* myself when I went through that one. I held my breath and slowed down....I made it! No problem. ...
