    Port Jefferson is named after our third president. It's a deep water port that has ferry service to Connecticut. While there, we found a winery shop offering tastings from the Pindara and Duck Walk wineries and a small brewery, Port Jeff Brewery, doing the same. Of course, we're bringing some back with us.     ... Saturday, August 17th. Indications are that the first five days on the barge, the weather will be more of the same. Steve was right on time, and by 3:15 pm I was at Carolyn's house.
