Here we met up with a couple of caddies from Shinnecock and got the inside running on the course and Rory McIlroy's round a few days earlier.     ... were out of luck.  Most pre planned activities took place in the mornings. The other aspect was the lower you went in the valley, the higher the temperature and humidity, so by mid afternoon you didn't know what to do with ourselves.     Port Jefferson is named after our third president. It's a deep water port that has ferry service to Connecticut. While there, we found a winery shop offering tastings from the Pindara and Duck Walk wineries and a small brewery, Port Jeff Brewery, doing the same. Of course, we're bringing some back with us.
