Port Jefferson is named after our third president. It's a deep water port that has ferry service to Connecticut. While there, we found a winery shop offering tastings from the Pindara and Duck Walk wineries and a small brewery, Port Jeff Brewery, doing the same. Of course, we're bringing some back with us. Yeehaw! It is a quaint little port town with interesting shops and restaurants. We finished our visit with some coffee, tea and pastries at La Bonne Boulangerie. ...

Finally, it has not escaped our notice that we live in the woods, I have seen 3 rabbits, and while we were watching one rabbit a bluejay came and landed in the bird bath next to it. Super-awesome.
NB We don't live in Hicksville, that is where the Ikea is.

They were always there to answer any questions, help you when needed, friendly and were more than happy to tell you about their own countries (Czech Republic and Austria).
