... As a result, it was difficult to form a bond, as we had 10 local hosts though out the tour.

What we disliked the most was that we always felt as if we had to have our hand in our pocket for tips. We had 10 local hosts, 10 drivers, plus boatman, porters, bellboys, etc. Its not the money, its the pain of figuring out how much to tip each while trying to convert from US Dollars into Yuan, or Hong Kong dollars. We were doing ...

... course in sensational condition, lots of elevation changes and the 17th has to rank as BOT (best on tour) par 4. Brough had 34 points courtesy of an eagle 2 on the par 4, 16th to lead the day. Pro had 31 and rest all in the 20's. Some only just! The GBU's took out the day and with the 3 Peas coming second ties them at the top of the ladder with 9 points. Port Jefferson is named after our third president. It's a deep water port that has ferry service to Connecticut. While there, we found a winery shop offering tastings from the Pindara and Duck Walk wineries and a small brewery, Port Jeff Brewery, doing the same. Of course, we're bringing some back with us. Yeehaw! It is a quaint little port town with interesting shops and restaurants. We finished our visit with some coffee, tea and pastries at La Bonne Boulangerie. ...

I can't believe today is the day that we really have to return home. Wake up call was at 5:15 am. Our car service was due to pick up us at 7 am, so we were able to have a quick breakfast before we left for the airport. The Sandton Brussels Centre was at best sparse, but adequate. The lack of lighting was horrible, and the sulfur smell emulating from the bathroom was not pleasant. At 7 am, our minivan was in front of the hotel to transport us to the airport. Checking out the weather guide, storms and rain forecasted for tomorrow, our planned trip out of NY. We had a quick look at Jones Beach, Long Island and drove further along on the foreshore. Cost you to park at the beach! . The beaches are very flat and not as good as some of our Aussie beaches. Got back to camp and packed up and decided to leave NY today as the weather is good. Didn't want to drive in the rain tomorrow. ...
