    ... the lengthiest possible route when trying to get back to Hampstead (damn you, Lonely Planet map!) before stumbling onto the ever-faithful 24 bus to return for lunch. After battling the crowds we selected Vietnamese prawn stir-fry and some classic English fish and chips.     Left Highbury Terrace at 9.30am via legs and metro to the Borough Markets for some Monmouth coffee, doughnuts and bread for the days lunch. Gabby says to note they were the best doughnuts in the world! Amazing variety and sections from paella to sausages-real foodie heaven.     We set our from Deb'a place for a little tour of Marlow in Buckinghamshire. We walked down the high street, across the bridge, along the Thames and stopped for a coffee before driving to Marlow Lock. We timed it right to see the lock in operation. Marlow is a lovely town of about 15,000 people with a bit of money so beautiful shops, houses and parks.     We stayed with Catherine and Iain (Margaret's sister and brother-in-law) who live in Muswell Hill, North London. We had a walk along the nearby Parkland Walk which is the remains of an old railway line and is full of birds and ripening blackberries. We wandered up to the shopping area at Muswell Hill Broadway.
