    We set our from Deb'a place for a little tour of Marlow. We walked down the high street, across the bridge, along the Thames and stopped for a coffee before driving to Marlow Lock. We timed it right to see the lock in operation. Marlow is a lovely town of about 15,000 people with a bit of money so beautiful shops, houses and parks. Deb then drove us to Northampton to Althorp House the estate of the Earl of Spencer and Diana's grave and memorial. I realised on our way there ...

    ... 8217;t want to move so she took his bed instead. The hostel was kind of gross and our 16-bed room definitely smelled of teenagers.

    The next morning we got breakfast and were surprised to see how many people were staying at the hostel. We went on a free walking tour with some others in the hostel that was about 3 hours.     ... again looking at the architecture and pubs. The law Courts on Fleet Street are amazing! When the old lady made me a cup of tea and the old man carried my bag, and their grandson wanted to sit on the bike, I had tears in my eyes. I felt like a lost mountaineer in the Himalayas who was about to be rescued by a medic helicopter.
