The gift shop was great. I got Ella, Kev's new bub an alphabet game, a whole heap of gold Nobel price in chocolate form and a new wallet. Pretty cool.

It was still early afternoon so we explored the old town and found a Viking tourist shop. We got some pewter mugs. look cool.

The Vasa Museum opened in 1990 and, according to the official web site, is the most visited museum in Scandinavia. Together with other museums such as Stockholm Maritime Museum, the museum belongs to the Swedish National Maritime Museums (SNMM).

... I've seen. And for some stupid reason we weren't allowed to take photos there, which didn't endear me to the place, but still very nice. After that we kind of just wandered around the old town for a while, did a bit of shopping, and walked a fair way back to the hotel. All in all a good day, again with a lot of walking, which is good seeing as how I'm probably eating far too much ****. The food in Sweden has been very good actually ... I can't really think of a bad meal I've ...

... 11 pm. People are very timely here and all shops cv lose at 5 pm sharp except restaurants that close at 10 while boat and transportation run on printed schedules. We bought a city pass at the airport, well with the money. It gives a discount on train 5 stockholm, and free entry to museums, boat tours and more. So we got up nice and early to go to a museum thing with a giant boat that had sunk. We got there right when it opened. It was really interesting and the boat was huge.
