    ... very much like how I remember the NY subway in 2007 when our school choir visited, although the entrance/exit gates are transparent and lit to look more contemporary and an attendant is there to help. I would say our family appreciates a good public transportation system and, at least for our purposes, the tube has been just that.

    I started the day early and took the subway to GAMLA STAN (OLD TOWN). I easily could have walked. There are narrow streets here that are mostly pedestrian. The buildings are very colorful and housed by shops and shops and more shops. Where there are shops in colorful buildings on narrow streets you are going to find tons of people. And I did.

    ... The museum had an audio guide that you could download and for this they had free Wi-Fi that was open access. I wasn’t really bothered about internet much but at that point I was glad of it.
