... was a lonely guard standing on the side of the palace doing a little march... by himself... then he went back to his little spot. I took a picture with him because that's what you do when there's a guard in a foreign country! He talked to us and answered our questions, but we couldn't step within the rectangle he was in. He was very stoic, but when I made a joke to the other guys about how I can be all touristy because I'm Asian, the guard chuckled. Gamla Stan is really pretty! ...

... rides, but it is tradition to go in a group, compete in several games to have the top scorer the winner. Each stall had an operator explaining the rules and naming the winner. We hit moving objects with wooden mallets, shot air rifles at a target, used a slingshot to knock down cans to name a few. Hilarious ! Time now for waffles and Ice ...

... trip to the archipelago, as well as our train west from Stockholm have given us a glimpse into a greater Sweden that we would love to return to at some stage in the future and in the meantime we'll throw a little bit of support behind Svenska in the upcoming World Cup (Fergus does have a jersey now, after all!). Something i think is pretty amazing is that they talk 4 different languages there. But a bad thing is the heat in august. So if you want to go there, go there in June, then it is only about 30 degrease. I have been there two years a row so i new what to do to have super fun.

I really recommend turkey so if you have the money, I think you should go ...

I'm quite neglectful of this.

The system I put into place with Emelie seems to be working quite well. We have something scheduled for every day. We even carved a pumpkin for Halloween. It was terribly cold outside and my hands were numb from pulling out the insides.
