This really felt like a home cooked meal as Maria cooked the food ten feet from us in her oven and brought the salad to our table with the small glasses for wine.     So what can I say about Crete.

    I think its called the food bowl of Greece - and there appears to be a very good reason for that. The food here is amazing. We were lucky that we got some very hot tips about where to eat while we were here. Not able to get to all the places on that list, but did get to at least three of them. And I also have to mention the breakfast food here at the hotel. What an amazing ...
