... bit of abuse on the trip. On the hard shoulder, a driver was leaning on his open car door as Steve went round him. With some mild arm signals, Steve suggested he might want to close his door and as Angela reached him she was accused of being "white trash" and shouldn't be allowed on the roads. Not a pleasant character but hopefully not drunk. Ten minutes later, we were pitching up at the Doheny State Beach campground, chatting to fellow bikers and the incident had already been ...

We spent the late afternoon at the hotel pools. They have chairs poolside used to dip people in wheelchairs into the water. They looked like the devices used at the Salem Witch Trials. Water boarding chairs.

... you sat in a clam and went round listening to the songs from the movie, we had a good singalong. While we were looking for somewhere for lunch we saw a smaller ride with a really short waiting time so we went on that, it was the Golden Zephyr and you sit in a plane type pod and it swings round and out on a tall carousel. We stopped for lunch at about half 2 and went to Cove Bar because you didn't need a reservation and they did smaller portioned meals. I had a really ...

... return about 6:45. That would make it difficult to get to our ball game on time. We also realized that we would have little time to actually "hop off" the bus and actually see anything. Disappointing. Not sure I would have chosen this option had I realized. We did the red route, seeing some of the sights of Hollywood, then transferred to the yellow route, heading out to Santa Monica. We did get off the bus ...
