"Sleep when you're dead", they say.
My quick transit in Minneapolis was as blurry as how jet blast escapes an aircraft engine. In my desperate need to just want to sit back down again, I sped off to what seemed the other side of earth to attempt my next standby battlefield to Chicago.
In my dazed state, I knew the protocol to …
... to fill in the time very easily. It was a beautiful morning which, combined with the fact that tomorrow is a US-wide public holiday, meant that the streets were filled with a mixture of locals and visitors. Little Market Brasserie is affiliated with the adjoining Talbott Hotel, and we could choose to eat inside the hotel or out on the sidewalk. On such a warm morning little discussion was needed and we were led to an outdoor table in a nook that had been created between the ...

After 12 hours of driving we arrived. Jared and I dropped off the rest of the family and went to park the van. We started up the parking garage ramp, but a few floors up realized that the roof height got smaller and we realized that we were going to have to remove the roof rack and all of it’s contents. The hotel was fantastic. In a great location and room although compact, cleverly designed to create space. Staff were friendly on check in and check out, and the hotel doorman was especially attentive when giving me directions to the nearest coffee shops to help cure my jetlag.
Rooftop bar was great, generally a little quiet during the week, but the roof blew off over the weekend, with an awesome atmosphere both inside and out, great music and excellent cocktails!
