... of Amsterdam. In the Dam square, lots of tourists were watching street artists, and after half-a ******ned hour we could leave and head down to Spui without missing, however, Begijnhof: a wonderful closed square with beautiful gardens and a little church. I also really loved the Spui, a market of old printings, books, maps, etc. I really got surprised when I saw a coffeeshop for the first time! But what would be your reaction if you saw people smoking weed in ...

I tried the most AMAZING pastries I think I've ever had. They are called Oliebollens and Appelflappens. Oliebollens are similar to fried dough, but in the shape of a ball and have raisins ...

... the local syrup waffles that are a specialty of the area as well as any tasters that we saw along the way. We jumped on board a pub crawl that night which was quite good. We went to three different venues where we chatted with people from all over the world, indulged in the free shots that were included with the price and enjoyed some of the things that we'd bought at the coffee shop the day earlier - 'twas fun. The next morning we checked out of our hostel ...
