... I'll go traveling again, but this time southeast to the distant land of Frisco, which is where I work. It's a long a arduous drive, but it's okay, because I always keep a health pack and camping gear in my car, just in case I get attack by rabid armadillos or if I can't find a hostel to stay in on the way.
I am in Fort Worth right now at my moms place. I drove up here monday afternoon and spent a day and change with a friend beforehand. We ended up retiring relatively early so that we would be able to wake up bright and early and do a bit of day walking. 7am ingestion. What an experience. Found myself once again as I often do when out there. Became everything.
Total run from about 8am to 2pm. Talked talked talked. Good thing I have great ...

I miss Philly and friends,

... glasses c. 2002 due to regular ones breaking two days ago. Glamour didn't have a chance. I kept whipping them off but there were things I HAD to see. . My string of Michelle Obama-sized pearls were okay, but let's face it, pearls aren't glitz.
Soon after we arrived at the Piccolo Mondo restaurant, about 40 minutes before the ceremony and dinner, both of which were held in a private room, Michele told me that I was ...
... on the outskirts of Ft. Worth, all the mod cons, sleekly neutral interiors and a TV in our room big enough for a sports bar. Plus 24 Starbuck's coffee in the lobby, etc. And for our further convenience, I swear to God, we can walk to both Costco and a Super Target (defies description). Flat big-box land is the only way to describe it. And hot: 99 degrees when we arrived.
Tomorrow: the wedding...
... AZ. Unbelievable place. During the Winter the place grows from several hundred souls to many thousands of people, camping out on BLM land and in RV parks (where we were in Ehrenberg). Quartzsite is the center of the gem and mineral people for the winter months. Rough gems ... and finished ... from all over the world. Any kind you want. In the middle of the desert. No shopping. Ugh! But, Ed wanted to start learning ...
