... as you can see in the photos is world class. The stage is massive and the back stage area would be at least 5 times the stage space. The full fly tower was able to store our entire sound shell which was in the early stages of being flown back up into the ceiling as we packed down the stage. Truly state of the art and a pleasure to play in for our first gig on Chinese soil. The audience was a fair size (approx. 250) - they had paid between NZ$25 and ...

The size of China and the relative size of its cities are hard to get your head around. The food we cheap and for about $3-4 each we had food and ...

Dinner was put on two buildings up from the hotel and we waled through a deli/mini-supermarket to downstairs where their was a restaurant with many rooms for different guests. Our room had three large tables and was covered in food. We were informed that this chinese selection would be a staple diet for the rest of the trip. ...

Our flight from Hong Kong was delayed due to a late arrival of the plane. We ended up arriving in Dalian at 10:30pm. Fortunately we got to sit next to a nice guy from Dalian who spoke good english. He gave us some tips on things to see in Dalian and advised us on how much the taxi from the airport should cost. I confirmed they would have meters to determine the cost. Once we arrived in Dalian we were pleased to see our bags ...
