Amy and Matt's week in Ajijic
On Sunday, we received a great Christmas present - Amy and Matt arrived in Ajijic just in time for a Christmas dinner of roast chicken, a Mexican stuffed ham, scalloped potatoes, beans, salad and an ice cream cake. Amy looked cute as a 4 month expecting mom and Matt seemed to be in surprisingly good shape, considering that it has only been a little more than a month since his ordeal with Salmonella.

Race Across Mexico
... objectives of my trip in the space of 24 hours. Not that this made the rest of the journey any more enjoyable: we somehow found room on the crowded bus for three more travellers, Mexicans seemingly picked up at random from small towns and villages along the way, and it was claustrophobic, uncomfortable and suffocatingly hot.
