... odds and ends all hand made. Then went to Silkstone to see Targets dad Boydie and the boxer family. Had. Few more laughs and then back to Tankersley Manor where we met up with Margaret and Robert for dinner. Weather is terrible cold and wet and forecasting snow for tomorrow . Barnsley is a pretty place with lots of gardens and as it is spring tulips and daffodils sway gently in the cold winds everywhere ...

... I had a few pints which were only £2 each and Jenna and I got to meet some of the people who will be part of our family for the next 5 months. They were all lovely and made us feel welcome. Nikki dropped us back at Kay's where we hade toast for tea. Due to the houses being small they don't have pantry's like we do at home and the fridge and freezer are practically non-existent. We waited eagerly, watching the weather forecasts and predictions for train cancellations, waiting for Lucy and Peter to make it up to Ilkley from London on Christmas Eve.
