It looks like there is a change in the weather coming, so it must be time to pack up and go home.

We needed to take Barbara for a doctor's appointment and to run some errands, including a stop at Weegmann's for Paul's last pork pie of this trip, and then we brought Barbara back home and made lunch - including the pork pies all around.
Today we parked on the other side of ...

... was so badly scratched or fogged I didn't get very good photos.

We flew over the other Channel islands and along the French coastline before we got to Southampton. We had another 30 minute layover here, but because we were coming into the UK from a non-EU country, we had to disembark with our luggage, go through security again, and reboard the same plane - the same seats in fact! ... village of Ilkley. We had heard on the radio on our way that Yorkshire has the highest number of smokers in England. I think that explained the note on the wall in our room - don't think we'd ever seen such a warning about smoking in the room! Good though.

It was interesting to read a little blurb in the room about the building that opened as a hotel in 1844 and was named after the towns original name of Wheatley. It ...

... playing and shortly afterwards Dom and Becky brought
out a suitcase with wigs, blow up guitars, oversize glasses, butterfly wings
and all sorts of other stuff. The dance
floor was soon covered with some strange looking individuals using the props in
all sorts of ways. A good time was had
by all until about 1am I believe.

It was lovely to be part of such a happy event and
especially nice to spend some time with Ryan.
    It was also ...
