Litt over 3 mnd føre vi skulle reise var tiden inne for å oppgradere immunsystemet vårt. I første omgang fikk vi to sprøyter hver, en i hver arm. Jeg tok Boostrix Polio og Twinrix (min siste og tredje dose). I andre omgang fikk jeg...

Ting Tar Tid
Etter laaaaaaaaaaaaaang tid med planlegging som begynte tidlig i sommer, er reiseruten fullstendig - nesten :p Det tok lenger tid enn forventet å finne ut av det grunnleggende, men etter flere måneders arbeid har vi en ca ramme.  
Første delen av turen er jo studie i Asia, og reiseruten her er jo planlagt. Det er reisen som meg og Rune skal ta etterpå som tok litt tid å finne ut av. Det høres ...

Nach einer wunderschoenen 10 Std. Autofahrt durch den Sueden Norwegens, vorbei an Wasserfaellen, Fluessen, Seen, Bergen und Meer sind wir wieder in Kristiansand, dort wo unsere Reise begann. Es wird bestimmt nicht die letzte Reise nach Norwegen gewesen sein, einfach wunderschoen.

One of our last trips on this vessel. This old lady is going to be replaced now by a newer, faster ship: Supespeed 1. This baby is going to cut down travelling time by roughly an hour. The Norwegians are obviously very pleased with that. Colorline is going to sell this vessel now. It's probably going of the Mediterranean now ...

... Among the many things on the list for my self-funded sabbatical - travel a bit and take classes. Since my husband is Norwegian, and I've always wanted to learn another language, I started investigating Norwegian classes at the University of Washington. ... had a rather massive slab of cow for lunch and was almost all red-meated-out. But we did have a bottle of Malbec-Merlot-Cabernet which was just a divine combination!) we head out with Estefi and Alex and hook up with some more mates. We dance our socks off till dawn, great birthday! BA gave me an extra day in BA. I savoured every moment of the day. Well, finally on Dec. 22 I got back home to Kristiansand. It's been really nice meeting my friends and family again, I even played a concert the 27th together with my brother and a hip-hop group called Darkside of the Force. The weather is almost unusually cold and the whole city (and country) is covered in snow. Even though it's freezing, it's kind of nice with snow during Christmas.
