    A nice bus ride with a very jolly Norwegian driver to Sweden looked a lot like driving in northern Minnesota. Flat rocky lakeshores with pines and birches and cabins. No wonder half of Scandinavia moved to MN. Mora is the town where they make the carved red horses called Dala. So there are statues everywhere and shops selling 500 kroner 2" high Dala.
