... chocolate, though it did have a store at the end so after staring at chocolate for an hour it was impossible not to buy any. Walking around the building after a big day yesterday and not the best of sleeps resulted in us getting tired pretty quickly. We decided to make the trip back to Caitlin's to watch some Sherlock and get an early night.

... end the day we caught up with two of Caitlin's friends in the area for a light show. We walked around with our beer and took in the beautiful displays then headed on for more food and drinks before calling it a night. We headed to our hotel in Nagoya and found a small room with basically just a bunk bed in it, though for $20 each it was more than fine.

Goal: Open my eyes whilst on the scary rides

Week One

The evening consisted of amazing sushi dinner and a few bars for Japanese beer. Communication is a minimum, we've become very good at smiling, nodding and saying 'arigato'.

... actually went over and down a bit, missing a stop at the high point of the pass. The road led to a huge parking lot and facilities to service the visitors so I stopped there for a photo which showed an elevation of 2,702 metres. After a short break to put on my jacket, hat and full finger gloves, I then headed down the other side. The views are nowhere near as nice on the back side of this climb. Finding Our Hotel In Nagoya

After an almost three hour journey on the bullet train from Kamakura to Nagoya. It was time to find our hotel. At this point, we had only booked the hotel over the internet the night before and after sleeping on the floor in Kamakura Guest House. I wanted my own room and toilet this time around. I needed the peace and quiet of a comfy bed and a place to just go to the bathroom without having to go with ten other people waiting to use it as well.
