The three o'clock wake-up call jarred us out of sleep. Having been in bed only a few hours, we were thankful that we had packed virtually everything the night before and just had a few things to put in the suitcases before heading out to the lobby. We had called a taxi that was outside waiting when we came out.

The trip to the airport was smooth - not a lot of traffic on the road at 4:00 am - even in Manila! Once at the airport, there were crowds of ...

... destroyed in the earthquake and resulting tsunami just over three years ago. We passed in between Nagano (site of the '98 Winter Olympics) and Tokyo, the capital of Japan before touching down in Nagoya in central Japan. It was nearing 6:00 pm and was overcast. But through the clouds we could see the red ball of the sun heading toward the horizon. Upon landing, we were all asked to stay in our seats due to a medical emergency up in first ...

Today we went off to Nagoya Castle. So far it has been my favorite and not just because the SAKURA ARE RUFFIANLY IN FULL BLOOM but it had a awesome layout and design. We also went to the palace but it had been rebuilt and was all new so it wasn't as good. The we went to a shrine that was deep in a park that was more like a forest. There I saw Miko-sans! Later we found another discount figure store where I went a bit nuts =P

Inter net is being a *****, pic will come tomorrow night.

After our first and only sign of police in Japan, we ended up exploring and taking a walk through Central Park in Nagoya. This is a long park that goes from one end of Nagoya city to the other. We spent a good hour to two hours just walking and exploring the many ponds, views, Hollywood Star section and by the time we had finished our exploring, we decided it was time to hit the sack as Nagoya sadly wasn't the best for gay night ...

Nagoya Science Museum To Nagoya Castle (Morning)

... that still stands today.

Once we arrive at the actual gates of Nagoya Castle. It's time to head to the top of the look out. It was about 5 stories high with levels of paintings, samurai dress up booths, weapon displays and lots of information about the castle's history. It was a good way to spend a good two hours just walking around, spending the morning learning about all the history.

Also make it noted that it has a few fun activities that you can try ...
