Day Cruise: Poros

... We go ashore and everything is extremely quiet. We have decided we will get the ferry across to Lixouri which is only a twenty minute ferry ride. The ferry doesn't come for about half an hour and we have a bit of a wander. We stop in one of the shops on the water front and get talking to the owner and she's a pommie who came here twenty five years ago on a gap year and ended up marrying a Greek guy and stayed. She's very friendly and fills the waiting gap for us. ...

Relaxing in Petalas
... moon tonight ,winds up a bit but very peaceful here. I’m enjoying the quietness and pretty mountain views that are always changing color while the sun goes down and the moon comes up.
Peter and I had a game of scrabble,While Terry not interested, chose to go up on deck tuck himself in for the night.

We finally have a chance to move today. Very little wind and the rest of the day is light winds 5-10 kts.
Again Peter warns of the chance for anchors to be crossed when we pull out, he always expects the worst.
I never worry about it , if it happens it’s another 10 minutes to deal with it.
