My last trip to DR turned out to be a wedding in Punta Cana. Don't get me wrong, the location was beautiful. I stayed at the Wyndham Resort and the beach was to die for. They had a pool area and live entertainment at night. The actual wedding on the other hand was questionable. I mean, if your going to do a beach wedding, and a destination wedding at that, make sure your doing it on a private beach. I ...

of expected it to be a lot of beaches and only beaches, but I did not
expect so many prostitutes, drug dealers and men who were after women
twice their age. This was my first trip to the Caribbean. At first
glance, I thought this area of the world is best to be seen by cruise
ship. I haven't done a cruise ship yet, but there is a lot in the
Caribbean that I would like to see. ...
... so plan accordingly, it's worth saving up for.
My parents are "Diamond Members" on a "time share" they have there.

... we go to see a couple other resorts.... you're guess is as good as mine which ones we saw. Then we headed to RIU Palace Punta Cana and RIU Palace Macao. Both of which I wasn't overly excited to see. I'm really glad we went though, because I loved them. Once we walked into the Lobby of the RIU Palace Macao you could see the beach.
