... on the ends and they sell pho and other noodle dishes. There are many pedlars with their black plastic bags full of goods to sell the tourists. There are no supermarkets. Instead, many small shops sell the various staples of life: biscuits, shampoo, soap, drinks, cigarettes, stamps, etc. In lane ways and along footpaths, women set up temporary stalls that sell food and customers sit on low plastic stools. ... more biking and walking! After we brought in our freshly dried laundry (the 98 degree heat does the job in like 20 minutes!) we rented bicycles from the front desk at our hotel--30,000 VND ($1.50)--and began riding north along Cu Dai road towards the beach! We have an excellent system in place whenever we hit the roads in a new city. We find some sweet little hole in the wall restaurant on some obscure road and head out with the route ...
