... about 1 hour on the boat. There is residential along the shoreline and half way up the mountain most of the way around the lake, the further we get away from Como although it begins to thin out and clear townships can be seen.
Menaggio is, like all the other towns, a holiday destination and at this time of year most of the places are closed. We find somewhere to have lunch and then spend the afternoon wandering through the alleyways ...

... right next to Duomo, I'd recommend the ground floor for buying various designer products. Gothic. I wanted to go because I knew that it was different and I like trying new things.

What I loved the most about Milan was the Duomo. This beautiful Gothic Cathedral left me speechless. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing this building is. It was just perfect and to know it was build such a long time ago makes it even more amazing.
I knew as I was leaving Milan, heading to Venice, I was about to have a life changing experience.

... came from all around Italy to do so (with varying success in my opinion) Arancini ball for lunch, about the size and shape of a pear, quite enough! Truly had open top bus today, both of the ones yesterday had a roof - disappointing when I'm trying to get my vitamin D at the same time. Used it to get out to the canals as I still had time left on my two day pass. I never knew there were canals here, not huge or ...
