... and ended up stuck in Wiesbaden, one way streets. While lost we stopped for the first diesel fill since leaving home. Diesel works out at 80 pence per litre here, so it cost less than 50 pounds to fill the tank, it's more like 80 at home.

Today was a longer drive so we joined the Autobahn, the fast lane really is fast, we would see sports cars and large Mercedes flying past, they must of been doing 120mph if not more. ...

Today we woke up bright and early and joined thirty other fellow travelers to attend a church service to listen to the nuns of the church sing. Our guide said that the nuns at the church sing beautifully and that it would be a very special "must hear". They were very good and considering the ...

... west, and the rolling hills stretched on seemingly forever.

After a pleasant drive we arrived in Baden-Baden and found our hotel. We had splurged for a nicer room here and it was worth it. We had a balony looking off to the west, with a view of hills, vineyards, and the setting sun. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed a glass of Riesling while the sun set, before heading to dinner in our hotel. We enjoyed mushrooms, veal steak, and Zwiebelrostbraten ...

    Howdy folks,

Unfortunately our good weather got cut short as happens often in spring. We went from 25 degrees to just 11 degrees in 2 days, but that didn't stop things happening! On Friday I got a call saying that I got a job! I will be working at the Decathlon Warehouse in Schwetzingen full time for minimum wage which turns out to be less than what I was getting in Canada! It will definitely be an interesting experience: I have never worked in ...
