... then I had to go through the security check point yet again with all the usual hassles before walking back to the lounge for another 90 minutes. They had good wifi in the lounge and I was able to talk to Marjolaine for a few minutes, in the morning her time.

From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...
