... It's never boring on the boat and plans don't always work out, especially it seems with electrified guillotine locks on the River Great Ouse. They are notorious for breaking down and we seem to be in the wrong place and the right time. St Neots lock this time, so on the hottest day of the year, 38 degrees inside the boat, we are stuck in St Neots town centre for a couple of days, ...

Next day we visited ex neighbours from Christchurch who relocated to the UK after the earthquake and then headed to our first night in a camping ground on power so that we could test the capabilities of our new machine. After ringing around 5 camp grounds we managed to find one that had room for us and so we ended up at Henley-on Thames which was a lovely camping ground and the facilities were amazing with central heating throughout ...
... the train. I am heading back to Tim & Chris's tonight.
I met a lovely guy there who I got talking to. His name was Alex and he worked for the underground. He was so lovely, and had the most random but awesome customer service I think I have ever seen!
But now I am on a train. Back out of London and on to the next stage of my adventure...which you will hear about on Friday so stay tuned! Ahhh...the suspense :P

Back to my little room in England :)
But today was interesting.
I stayed at a friends house last night in London, and when I woke up late this morning...I needed to contact a couple people.
But given I have been on the road 2 months, I have no credit.
So Alex told me to 'go crazy' texting.
Not the smartest thing ...
... with a topping of heavy whipped cream mixed with butterscotch. It was very sugary and the kids loved it. At that same break location they also had the hogwarts bridge, the triple decker purple bus, and the front of Privet drive. At the gift shop on the way out Katie purchased a time turner and Hermione's wand. Alex purchased a stuffed dragon and a a harry potter quidditch shirt. It was a long day, but the kids [and adults] had a great time. ...
